Congratulations to Abel Vandegrift, of Authentic8, our inaugural OSINT Foundation Volunteer of the Year award recipient! Abel was recognized for his outstanding support of the Foundation and the OSINT discipline. One way the Foundation strengthens the practitioner community is through our bi-weekly newsletter, The First Resort. Available on our member page, it provides information on job opportunities, sponsor announcements, Foundation activities, and curated information about OSINT in the news. Putting the newsletter together takes no small amount of effort, and as a key member of the newsletter subcommittee, Abel was first to step up as we launched it, and his critical insights into the OSINT discipline provides a major service to our members.
