We are currently seeking attendees from the U.S. Government and academia, additional industry slots may become available on July 15th.

At the OSINT Tech Expo in May, the OSINT Foundation announced the establishment of our professional certification schema that will lay out standards and recognize excellence at various stages of an OSINT professional’s career. We noted that we want this program will be a collaborative process, involving academia, the Government, and industry.

We would like to invite academics and government personnel who are teaching OSINT or interested in teaching OSINT to participate in our inaugural Teaching OSINT Summit, a day-long free event on Wednesday, August 6th in Reston, Virginia. The Summit will include a detailed review of the OSINT Foundation’s proposed certification schema in the morning and in the afternoon an opportunity to attend presentations from the Intelligence Community’s primary OSINT (government) certification program leads.

Due to U.S. law and export controls, this event is open only to U.S. Citizens. We anticipate considerable interest in this event, so if you are interested, please complete the interest form below as soon as possible, but no later than July 18th. The goal is to provide broad representation to include perspectives from across government, academia and industry but given the space constraints not all applications can be accepted this year.
